The Claridges Spa: Management
Opening in phase II of The Claridges Surajkund, Delhi, NCR, The Claridges Spa has been planned to meet the needs of hotel guests, local day spa visitors and an exclusive membership group from other parts of the city. Sprawling nearly 1400 sm, and featuring one of the largest wet areas in the region, the spa contains a dedicated floor for a state-of-the-art fitness facility complete with a yoga studio, and a separate floor for treatments. The internationally conceptualized spa will set a benchmark in luxury with unparalleled attention to detail and gracious service.
The spa draws its design inspiration from the ancient baoli—the ancient stepwells constructed centuries ago to provide and store water. The spa consists of 10 treatment rooms with individual steam and showers. Of these, two are dedicated Thai massage rooms and two are Ayurvedic treatment rooms. Two specialized spa suites complete the room inventory. The spa has a dedicated beauty area as well with specially designed manicure and pedicure spaces. And the high-energy fitness area also houses wet facilities, complete with separate steam and sauna for ladies and gentlemen.
Harmonising synergies in design, concept, philosophy and service excellence, the spa offers a complete bouquet of first-in-class facilities and treatments that redefine luxury & wellbeing in India. These include specific day programs, wellness weeks, yoga, nutrition workshops, customized treatments and therapies.
Currently providing pre-opening and technical services, Spatality will be managing the spa’s operations once it opens in March 2010.
